Your riding preferences, motorcycle details, and app settings are stored locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to external servers.
Gear Collection
Information about your motorcycle gear is stored locally on your device to provide personalized recommendations.
AI Conversations
When you interact with Rider AI, your messages are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate responses. Conversations may include contextual information such as weather conditions and your profile preferences to provide relevant advice.
Third-Party Services
Apple WeatherKit
We use Apple WeatherKit to provide weather data. Your location is shared with Apple's weather services. Apple's privacy policy applies to this data.
Google Gemini API & Apple Foundation API
The Rider AI feature uses Google's Gemini API and Apple Foundation API. Your chat messages and relevant context are processed by these services to provide intelligent responses. Google's and Apple's privacy policies apply to this data.
Apple StoreKit
Subscription purchases are processed through Apple's App Store. We do not have access to your payment information.
Data Storage & Security
All personal data, preferences, and gear information are stored locally on your device. We do not operate external servers to store your personal data. Your data is protected by your device's built-in security features.
Analytics & Tracking
RiderWeather does not use any third-party analytics or tracking services. We do not collect usage statistics or behavioral data.
Your Rights
Under GDPR and applicable data protection laws, you have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Delete your data by uninstalling the app
- Withdraw consent for location access in Settings
- Request information about data processing
Children's Privacy
RiderWeather is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
