1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using RiderWeather ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

RiderWeather is a motorcycle weather companion app that provides weather information, riding condition assessments, gear recommendations, and an AI-powered riding assistant. The App is designed to help motorcycle riders make informed decisions about their rides.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use this App. By using RiderWeather, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Conduct

You agree to:

  • Use the App for lawful purposes only.
  • Not rely solely on the App for safety-critical decisions.
  • Exercise your own judgment when riding.
  • Keep your device and App updated.
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App.

5. Weather Data Disclaimer

Weather data is provided by Apple WeatherKit and is for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of weather information.

IMPORTANT: Always check multiple sources and use your own judgment before riding. Weather conditions can change rapidly and unexpectedly.

6. AI Assistant Disclaimer

The "Rider AI" feature (powered by third-party AI services, including Google Gemini) provides suggestions and information for general guidance only. AI-generated responses may contain errors, hallucinations, or inaccuracies.

  • Do not rely on AI advice for safety-critical decisions.
  • Always verify important information from authoritative sources.
  • The AI's "safety assessments" are based on general algorithms and may not reflect real-time road conditions or your personal skill level.

7. Subscriptions

RiderWeather offers premium features through in-app subscriptions.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel anytime through your Apple ID settings.
  • Refunds: No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods.
  • Pricing: Prices are subject to change with notice.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of RiderWeather are owned by Mihai Daniel Cojocaru and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

RiderWeather is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, death, or property damage related to motorcycle riding.

You assume all risks associated with motorcycle riding. The App is a tool to assist your decision-making, not a substitute for safe riding practices, professional training, or common sense.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mihai Daniel Cojocaru from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App or your violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes will be communicated through the App.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Romania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Romania.
